The Blu Grotto Conservatory Restaurant

Completed 2013
Architect: Johnson Architecture | Design: Tanglewood Conservatories

The Blu Grotto is famous for its delicious modern and classic adaptations of regional Italian favorites, but more recently, they have transformed their dining room into a grand experience with a conservatory! From private events to parties to casual dining experiences, the conservatory is used for many functions at this racetrack!

As designers Tanglewood Conservatories describe it, “French doors open onto an outdoor dining deck that surrounds the restaurant conservatory – which takes its horseshoe shape from the racetrack itself.”

The decorative wood beams in the roof and the striking blue décor adds a fanciful flair. A separate bar area sits off to the side, also under glass. This conservatory restaurant dining room is a popular attraction itself where dining is both intimate yet open. Its sheer walls of glass articulated by the insistent rhythm of the elegantly detailed woodwork.
